Liliowce i malwy. Day lilies and hollyhocks.

W ogrodzie następuje zmiana dekoracji. Coraz mniej róż, a na pierwszy plan oprócz lilii wysuwają się liliowce i malwy. 

There is season of day lilies and hollyhocks in my garden now. It's like changing of the scenography in the theater of summer flora.

Ćwiczę sobie. I'm practising.

Ćwiczę sobie różne ujęcia, różne odcienie zieleni i kształty liści. Przede mną jeszcze długa droga do doskonałości.

I'm practising. I paint different subjects, different leaves and shades of green. A long way to achieve excellence.

Z ogrodu. From the garden.

Jest tak gorąco, że nie potrafię sklecić rozsądnego zdania, ani wysiedzieć dłużej przed komputerem. Całe dnie spędzam w ogrodzie, tam, gdzie największy cień. Ale lubię upały.

It's so hot that I'm hardly able to write any sentence. I spend all days in the garden sitting in deepest shadow. But I like hot weather.

Białe hortensje. White hydrageas.

W tak gorący dzień najmilej jest malować siedząc w głębokim cieniu. U mnie taki cień jest pod starą czereśnią, gdzie kwitną białe hortensje.

We have now very hot days. And in a hot day the best place to paint is the shadow area under old cherry tree. In this place grow white hydrageas.

Kwiaty z ogrodu. Flowers from the garden.

Korzystając z pogodnych dni, staram się dużo szkicować. Nie zawsze jestem zadowolona, czasem dopada mnie frustracja, ale staram się ćwiczyć wytrwale.

The weather is fine so I try to sketch as much as I can. I'm not always satisfied with the result. Sometimes I get frustrated but I keep practising.
