Górski potok. Mountain creek.

Wiele godzin spędziłam w Dolinie Kościeliskiej usiłując namalować spienione wody potoku. Sadowiłam się w różnych miejscach, szukałam różnych sposobów, ale to ciągle nie to. Coś mi umyka. Mimo pewnej artystycznej frustracji, czas spędzony pośród szumu rzeki przyniósł mi wiele radości.

I spent many hours sitting in the Kościeliska Valley and trying to capture rushing waters of the mountain creek. I sat in different places and tried different ways to paint bubbly foamy waters but I wasn't satisfied. Something was missing. In spite of this artistic frustration time spent by the waterside brought me a lot of peace and joy.

Właśnie wróciłam z Tatr. Mam kilka nowych szkiców, ale za gorąco jest, żeby siedzieć w pokoju i je skanować. Na razie więc pokazuję róże malowane w zeszłym tygodniu.
I've just returned from Tatra mountains. I've made some sketches there but it's too hot to sit in the room and scan the pictures. So at the moment I show the roses painted before our trip.
