Dla przyjaciółki. For my friend.

Niedawno moja przyjaciółka miała urodziny, a ponieważ lubi kąpać się w ciepłym morzu, namalowałam dla niej taki właśnie obraz.

One week ago my friend has her birthday. She loves swimming in warm Mediterranean see so I painted for her this landscape.

Tulipany na różne sposoby. Tulips different ways.

Z ogrodu. From the garden.

Znów tulipany. Tulips again.

Zimno potworne. Wybiegam do ogrodu z aparatem, robię kilka zdjęć tulipanom i chowam się w domu. Nie ma mowy o malowaniu w ogrodzie. Wszystkie portrety kwiatów robię w zaciszu swojego pokoju utrwalając w szkicowniku tulipany stojące w wazonie.

It's cold, very cold indeed. Icy arctic wind. I don't even try to sketch in the garden. I take some pictures of the tulips and hide inside. I put the flowers in the vase and paint them at home.

Zbliżenia. Close ups.

Czas tulipanów. Tulip time.

Jeden z najpiękniejszych momentów w ogrodzie - ten, gdy rozkwitają tulipany.
One of the most beautiful seasons in the garden - time of blooming tulips.
